The Third World War 3!

The perfect storm of video games continues (the Fall of 2011) this Tuesday with the much anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.  MW3 continues the trilogy of Modern Warfare CoD games.  This title should bring a conclusion to the Soap/Price story arch that had weaved its way through the Call of Duty series.  In the wake of the controversial events that literally shook apart  the highly-touted developer and Call of Duty franchise founders, Infinity Ward, it was not a sure thing that Modern Warfare 3 would be a sure thing.

In the end Infinity Ward, minus much of its team, reconstituted itself.  And with the helop of Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games, The latest Call of Duty game will arrive right on schedule, and appears to be no worse for wear.  In fact the CoD brand has never been stronger, and with the release of Elite, CoD online hub, there has never been more to do either!

I have been a Modern Warfare and Infinity Ward fan previously so I will stand by this product even though I have avoided the non-Modern Warfare CoD games.  I just appreciate how Infinity Ward has handled the game in the past, and even though there has been major changes, I fully expect MW3 to take over my life and wow me the same way its predecessors did.  After playing MW2 the other night I am feeling the Modern Warfare vibe.
